These sugar cookies are light and buttery and are sure to be a hit with anybody that loves a traditional sugar cookie. They’re delicious with a nutty flavor added by the sesame butter.
1¼ cups all-purpose flour
½ t. baking powder
½ t. salt
½ cup unsalted butter, room temperature
½ cup sugar
½ cup Golden Millstone Sesame Butter
1 t. vanilla
½ sugar, set aside
Combine the flour, baking powder and salt. Beat the butter and ½ cup sugar until it’s creamy and then add the sesame butter and vanilla. Add the flour mixture a little bit at a time until it forms a moist, crumbly dough. Form it into a ball, wrap it in plastic and refrigerate for about an hour until chilled. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Form into small balls and roll in the sugar that you reserved. Place site on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for approximately 15 minutes. Cool and enjoy.
